PuzzleTwist

Star of the North

Regular price $22.00
Here's the Twist:
The image on the box is more than a bit different from the puzzle image in the box.  What happened here?

To celebrate the North Star State we created Star of the North... aka L'Étoile du Nord with the art of Adam Turman. This is one puzzle that celebrates everything that has to do with Minnesota. For example, did you know the state motto, L'Étoile du Nord, is the only state motto that is in French? It was chosen by the state's first governor, Henry Hastings Sibley, and was adopted in 1861, three years after admission of Minnesota to the union.
Within this puzzle you will find numerous symbols representing the great state of Minnesota. Can you name: The state flower? state muffin? state gemstone? state mushroom?  Did you know that Minnesota was the first state to declare a state mushroom... so in our opinion... we got the best one.
Star of the North is within our Something's Amiss! series of jigsaw puzzles. So, you will discover many changes from the box cover image to the final puzzle image you assemble. For additional fun... this puzzle has an added twist where the shape of Minnesota is also hidden 10 times throughout the puzzle!

About the Artist:
Adam Turman is well known for his bold, colorful and eye-catching screen prints of iconic Minnesota landmarks.  Within this puzzle, Adam provides a fun view of many signature symbols of the North Star State.  Enjoy!

Definitely recommend

Best puzzle I have ever worked on. The educational aspects of this puzzle are great. The extra 'twist' of the photo on front different from the actual completed puzzle add to the fun and complexity. Highly recommend.

FUN!

Challenging, fun, & educational. My husband jumped in and had fun with it as well; he's typically not a puzzle guy.

Educational, but mostly fun

Every Minnesotan should own this puzzle. Thought provoking, educational for young & old. This was a wonderful puzzle to use for a Jigsaw Puzzle Contest at a County Fair. Simply awesome!!!!
