What magnificent birds! Common loons are known for their striking black and white feathers, distinctive calls and skilled diving. On such a lovely day, there are more than just the loons enjoying the scenic lake -- it is no wonder many things have gone amiss.

1.    Sky and clouds change color!

2.    Bright sun appears, shining through the clouds

3.    Two bald eagles now soar through the air

4.    Distant background pines change color (now deep purple)

5.    Nest with two eaglets appears in the tall pine tree

6.    This tree changes color

7.    Background bushes subtly change color

8.    Dragonfly is spotted in the trees

9.    Deer and fawn join the scene watching over the lake
