Revealed: Michigan Alphabet

 

  Here's the whole twist...


 

Michigan is the only state that touches four Great Lakes (Superior, Michigan, Huron and Erie)! With such beautiful shoreline, snowy winters, plentiful fishing, tasty cherries and more – there is much to see and do! It is no wonder many things have gone amiss.

Were you able to find the 41 differences between the puzzle you assembled and the box image?

 


Michigan Alphabet Revealed:
Refer to box art below for location of each of these changes.

1. Stars are now sparkling throughout the sky
2. Different type style is used on the “Michigan Alphabet” lettering
3. Brook Trout is swimming in the opposite direction (the state fish)
4. “Coney Dog” words move (now below the image)
5. Image of coney dog is facing the other direction with a bite taken out of it!
6. “Detroit” word moves above the Monument to Joe Louis (known as The Fist)
7. The Fist sculpture moves down to make room for the lettering
8. Words (Eastern White Pine, the state tree) stack along the side of the image...
9. because the tree has grown taller!
10. Fish on! (Man in the boat caught a fish)
11. Photo changes to a beautiful sunset on the Great Lakes
12. Puck replaces the “o” in the “Hockey” letters
13. Hockey stick is part of the “y”
14. Strawberry jam moves to location #15 (replaces plum jar) – and green tie is gone
15. Plum jam moves to location #14 (replaces strawberry jar) – and now has a green tie
16. Lighthouse beacon is now lit
17. Stripe on lighthouse changes from red to blue color
18. Isle Royale Greenstone (the state gem) shifts direction
19. “I” changes color in “Isle Royale” lettering
20. Four cherries shift a bit (grouping of 3 now on the right side)
21. New critter replaces “Ope!’ lettering (Opossum image and the word added!)
22. Opossum is saying Ope!
23. Words “Painted turtle” move above the turtle image
24. Painted Turtle image moves down (the state reptile)
25. Morel mushroom gets replaced with Motown (word and image); fitting as MI (specifically Detroit) is known for being the birthplace of Motown music.
26. Robin and word now facing the opposite direction (American robin is the state bird)
27. “N” and “O” in snowmobile change color
28. Snowmobiler’s coat, hat and scarf change colors
29. Tulips change colors to pink, yellow and deep purple/lilac
30. Rainbow is added to the scene
31. Another pine tree appears
32. More green vegetation (a third row) is added to the sandstone rock formation
33. Miner’s helmet facing opposite direction and the light is on!
34. Word “Vineyard” moves to make room for...
35. Glass of wine is added to the scene and...
36. Wine bottle; the grapes appear smaller
37. Fawn joins the scene
38. Decorations are added to this tree...
39. and this tree is also decorated
40. Red bird moves to the top of this tree
41. Bread is now cinnamon swirl bread – yum!
