Did you know there were three light houses that border the canal? The inner range light assists captains in aligning their course exactly with the ship canal. The rear light is mounted higher than the front light allowing both to be seen at the same time. If in vertical alignment the ship is on course and may be looking directly at Maynard! Can you find him?
