Color Me Minnesota
Here's the Twist:
The puzzle on the box is more than a bit different from the puzzle in the box. What happened here?
About the artist:
Kevin Cannon is a cartoonist and illustrator best known for his detailed maps in the Star Tribune. In fact a version of this puzzle, Color Me Minnesota, originally appeared in the Star Tribune as a coloring page!
Born and raised in St. Louis Park, Kevin's art career began at a very early age, drawing with Mr. Sketch markers. He studied studio art at Grinnell College in Iowa and resettled in Minneapolis after short stints in London and Manhattan. With 50 twists - this puzzle is sure to have you discovering new places throughout the North Star State.

I was at the Mall of America when I saw this puzzle for sale. I immediately recognized it as being similar to what I colored in the Star Tribune in four Sunday newspapers during the Pandemic so I had to get it. We had a lot of fun putting it together. Very good quality, too.
I really enjoyed the Color Me Minnesota puzzle but panicked when the box said it was 24” x 36”. My puzzle board is 24” x 36”. It fit!
I was overwhelmed with so much activity that was on the box. The poster helped my older eyes. Can’t wait to get another.
I look forward to purchasing more of your puzzles @ the 2023 State Fair for next winter. The "twists" and Kevin's humorous art work made it fun & interesting. Where were "Moose & Squirrel"? The classic Minnesota characters & company were absent. Working on a 3000 piece puzzle now (32 x 45) which looks like it is going to take 2 months to assemble. Consider the possibility...
Moose and Squirrel! Rocky and Bullwinkle! Can't believe we left those characters out... LOL. I'm sure there is much more we left out... but that is the wonderful thing about Minnesota... so much to love. 3,000 piece puzzle... yikes! Not sure we're there yet. Need to grow our distribution a bit before we jump into that piece count. Thanks so much for leaving the review! Piece be with you.
My pre-teen kids receive this as a gift from my parents but the whole family enjoyed putting this together. It was fun and light hearted but challenging.
We consider looking at the box, ‘cheating’, so this was the perfect puzzle with a twist. I am now on the website looking for the next puzzle to for our family or to give as a gift. Absolutely in love with the quality and puzzle piece design and uniqueness.
